  • Doug English and ACT Advisors have been my financial advisors for almost 18 years. ACT performed as a true fiduciary always putting my financial interests as a first priority. ACT has a competent team of market analysts supplemented by outside consultants. I have experienced long-term positive financial results during my experience with ACT Advisors - highly recommended. This is a TRUE 5 STAR financial services organization. The prior rating was not correct.

We love working with ACT Advisors. Before we retired we signed up with ACT. We wanted validation that we were financially able to survive on our retirement saving and income. They provided us with reports and projections base on our portfolio that we could not only survive, but thrive in our retirement. That was 6 years ago and we have maintained our relationship ever since. We receive quarterly updates on our portfolio and where we are financially on our personal retirement roadmap. We also have the ability to call and ask for advice or to answer questions when we have the need. I highly recommend them!

  • I retired early with a little trepidation as perhaps many people do. A friend had been singing their praises to me for years. I kept my 401K with my employer for a while but after thinking about it, I decided to talk with someone from Act. I am so glad that I did. I looked over all the material that they provided me, free of charge I might add, and was impressed with the breadth of services and attention to detail they provide. But I think what really sold me is the fact that they are a fiduciary firm. They, by their charter, must have their clients interests as the basis of all the actions they take. And the fact that how they make more money for themselves is wholly dependent on them making more money for their clients. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Act Advisers team to help with any financial situations in your life.

How Tokenized Loan Participations May Unlock Liquidity for Credit Unions

In this episode of C.U. On The Show, Doug English sits down with Randy Stolp of Loan NFT and Lamont Black of Wide Open Ventures to discuss an emerging concept within the credit union movement: the tokenization of loan participations. By combining blockchain infrastructure, AI-driven analytics, and cooperative marketplace concepts, the discussion explores how technology could potentially modernize the way credit unions manage liquidity, risk, and lending capacity.
